1. Participant Behaviour
1.1. All participants in the Audi quattro Cup tournament are expected to uphold the principles of camaraderie, fair play, and sportsmanship throughout the event.
1.2. Participants must treat all fellow players, officials, staff, and volunteers with respect and courtesy at all times. Any form of disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour, including, but not limited to, verbal taunting, unsportsmanlike conduct, or personal attacks, will not be tolerated.
2. Competition Guidelines
2.1. Participants are reminded that the Audi quattro Cup is about the joy of participation and sportsmanship, rather than solely focusing on winning. Embracing the principles of fair competition, magnanimity in victory, and graciousness in defeat is encouraged.
2.2. Participants should encourage teammates and opponents with positive words and gestures, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere throughout the tournament.
3. Handicap Policy
3.1. Participants are required to adhere to their official handicap index as per their respective golf association regulations.
3.2. Any attempt to manipulate or falsely represent one's handicap will result in disqualification from the tournament.
3.3. Please refer to the registration site for full handicapping allowances and eligibility requirements along with format of play.
4. Team Sportsmanship
4.1. Participants are encouraged to demonstrate good team sportsmanship by supporting each other, regardless of individual performances or team standings.
4.2. Participants should celebrate the achievements of their own team and acknowledge the successes of others, promoting teamwork and collaboration within the event.
5. Personal Boundaries
5.1. Participants must respect the personal space and privacy of fellow players at all times.
5.2. Any form of harassment, both physical and verbal, will not be tolerated.
5.3. Participants must not pressure other players to share their results and/or other information if they do not feel comfortable doing so. Respect for individual privacy and boundaries is paramount.
6. Cheating Policy
6.1. Cheating of any form, including but not limited to, altering scores, tampering with equipment, or violating rules of play, will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament.
7. Disqualification
7.1. Participants found to be in breach of any of these terms and conditions will be disqualified from the Audi quattro Cup tournament.
7.2. Participants that have been disqualified from the tournament will not be eligible for future tournaments.
7.3. Participants that have been suspended or membership withdrawn from a golf club or association are not eligible to participate in the tournament.
8. Agreement
8.1. By participating in the Audi quattro Cup tournament, participants agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.
8.2. The organisers reserve the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
