Enter a bend and shift down the gears. As you come out of the bend, the Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro® immediately responds to the throttle again. The high-revving concept has been further refined for this purpose, with the engine speed now peaking at 8,700 rpm. Its broad engine-speed range is instantly on tap and a beefy 530 Nm of torque drives the Audi R8 relentlessly forward. You detect this in the form of lightning-fast response, incomparable agility and supreme acceleration in virtually all driving situations.
