Supercar performance

With a 2.9 litre V6 biturbo engine producing 331 kW and 600 Nm, the Audi RS 5 Sportback sprints from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, while quattro all-wheel drive takes the performance equation to a new dimension.

quattro all-wheel drive with sport differential

Audi quattro all-wheel drive delivers superb handling and traction, while enhancing stability on wet or low friction surfaces. The self-locking centre differential directs 40 percent of the torque to the front axle and 60 percent to the rear in normal driving conditions, with up to 85 percent directed to the rear wheels if the road conditions demand it. Even in fast cornering, the handling is precise, stable, and agile. The sport differential additionally improves handling by actively distributing the power between the rear wheels.

The 8-speed automatic transmission with Dynamic Shift Program (DSP) ensures faster gear changes without any perceptible break in propulsive power. A sport program is also available which can be operated automatically with the selector lever.
