Supercar performance

The 2.9 TFSI engine with its twin turbochargers produces 331 kW of power and a massive 600 Nm of torque sees the RS 4 Avant sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds.

quattro all-wheel drive with sport differential

Audi quattro all-wheel drive delivers superb handling and traction, while enhancing stability on wet or low friction surfaces. The self-locking centre differential directs 60 percent of the torque to the rear axle and 40 percent to the front in normal driving conditions, with up to 85 percent directed to the rear wheels if the road conditions demand it. Even in fast cornering, the handling is precise, stable, and agile. The sport differential additionally improves roadholding by actively distributing the power between the rear wheels.

The 8-speed automatic transmission with Dynamic Shift Program (DSP) ensures faster gear changes without any perceptible break in propulsive power. A sport mode can be activated with a tap of the selector lever, and it holds on to lower gears longer for even brisker performance.
