The MMI touch response system sets new standards for intuitive operation and personalisation, allowing up to seven drivers to store their preferred settings in individual user profiles to define up to 400 functions. The system allows quick access to vehicle functions thanks to its logical, flat menu structure, while configurable shortcuts allow users' preferences to be dragged and dropped to the desired position on the MMI screen.
The MMI touch response operating concept declutters the interior by dispensing with almost all knobs and dials, replacing them instead with interactive touch displays. The use of haptic feedback gives a tactile confirmation of a selected function, making for easy and safe operation. The 12.3-inch display of the Audi virtual cockpit, with functions such as navigation, telephone and audio, places information exactly within the driver’s field of vision, allowing for a complete overview of the vehicle’s functions.
Adding yet another dimension to the options at the driver’s disposal, the A6 Sedan can also be operated using real-world voice commands. This is made possible by natural-voice interaction, an intelligent operating concept that understands you without being limited to predefined commands. Whether it is navigation data, radio stations or changing the temperature – it is simply a matter of speaking the instruction for the system to carry it out.
Connect and get started; up to two mobile phones can be connected to the car via Bluetooth and operated quickly and easily via the MMI, the multifunction steering wheel or voice control. And if your smartphone supports the Qi standard, it can be charged in the Audi phone box wirelessly.
