Sporty handling with supreme stability characterise the optionally available dynamic all-whee steering . A dynamic steering system works on the front axle, with steering that varies depending on the driving situation. At low speeds, the rear wheels steer in the opposite direction to the front wheels, increasing the agility of the A6 Sedan and reducing its turning radius by up to 1.1 metres to 11.1 metres. At medium and higher speeds, the front and rear wheels turn in the same direction, increasing stability and giving the sedan a confident composure regardless of the conditions.
Wheels and suspension
The wheel range for the new A6 Sedan has been expanded over its predecessor, including elegant and sporty wheel designs in sizes up to 21".
Audi offers different variants for chassis setup, with a conventional steel spring chassis, sports chassis and the chassis with adaptive damper control. Adaptive air suspension is available for the 6-cylinder variant, delivering a high degree of driving comfort and sporty handling, and can be optimally matched to driving style and road conditions via Audi drive select.
