Audi quattro Cup World Final

Australian golfers Ryan Condratoff and James Poulimas have finished third in the 2011 world final of the Audi quattro Cup.

Facing off against the national winners from 52 participating nations, the Australian pair showed their outstanding form at China’s impressive Mission Hills Golf Club.

The tournament was the culmination of an exciting year for the Audi quattro Cup, the world’s most popular amateur golf series, which celebrated 21 years in 2011. Internationally, nearly 80,000 golfers competed in some 754 tournaments around the world to decide the finalists for the showdown at the sprawling Mission Hills layout outside Shenzhen.

During the year, more than 1,200 Australian golfers competed in the Audi quattro Cup in the Australian Audi quattro Cup series, playing in 12 tournaments nationally. Ryan Condratoff and James Poulimas won the right to play for amateur golf’s greatest prize, after taking out the Australian final at the exclusive Capital Golf Club in Victoria in November.

The third place finish by the Australian pair was an outstanding result, sharing the podium with golfers from Ukraine and China in second and first place respectively.
