Motor sport all around the town of Schotten. The Schottenring Classic Grand Prix on August 14 and 15, 2010 is a Mecca for all motorcycle fans and is the most important event in Germany for classic racing motorcycles and sidecar combinations.
Audi Tradition will be taking part in special runs around the town circuit at Schotten with six DKW and NSU racing motorcycles. Three more high-quality historic racing bikes will be on display. At the start: the motorcycle racing driver August Hobl (world championship runner up in the 350 cc class in 1956), Heinz Klingenschmidt ( German off-road champion on the DKW 125 cc in 1958) and the twice German rally champion Harald Demuth.
Participating racing motorcycles: DKW 350 RM, DKW 250 SS (1935), DKW ORE 250 (1929), DKW 250 SS (1938), DKW 250 SS (1939), NSU Compressor.
On display: DKW 700 UL with side car, DKW US 250 (1939), DKW 350 SS (1939).
